GCE is experienced in working alongside some of the largest care home providers in the country. With our expertise in design knowledge, we provide full site external works that are fully compliant with Part M of the Building Regulations for disabled access, as well as drainage designs that are project specific. There requirements include may include oversized foul design to eliminate risk of large blockages from the habitable suits within Care Homes, or pumped solutions with Macerators. All of our care home designs are in general accordance with “Building Better Carehomes for Adults – Care Inspectorate UK”.

Our design team is experienced in working alongside the Environment Agency and other invested / interested parties to deliver environmentally sensitive projects with a minimal impact on the environment and the surrounding ecology. We strive where possible to increase the biodiversity of a site. Our environmental works range from Flood Compensation design and modelling through to SuDS systems for contaminated land or outfall into SSSI rivers.
